A day after Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi was killed, smoke was seen rising from Saudi consulate’s backyard on October 3. The video appears to corroborate a report by A News. They released a surveillance video of three men burning what appeared to be documents. A News said the surveillance footage allegedly showed “evidence” being burned inside a drum. Saudi Arabia announced that Khashoggi died as a result of a “fistfight” at the Consulate but Turkish media and officials have maintained that he was killed and dismembered by a 15-man Saudi hit squad.
