US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the US is still willing to “engage with Russia on arms control negotiations” as he briefs journalists on the decision to withdraw from the landmark Cold War INF missile treaty with Russia. Pompeo says that Russia has not addressed concerns over a new medium-range missile system that Western states believe goes against the 1987 accord.
