Two Reuters journalists investigating the Rohingya slaughter jailed for seven years in Myanmar for ‘breaking Secrets Act’.

The landmark case has been slammed around the world as a blow to media freedom and democracy in the Southeast Asian country.

Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo were arrested while carrying official documents handed to them by police officers.

The Reuters reporters were investigating the mass killing of a number of Rohingya villagers in Myanmar’s Rakhine state.
