U.S. President Donald Trump is sending troops to the Mexico border, with progress on his promised border wall stalled thanks to a lack of funding. Trump isn’t the first president to militarize the border — both Barack Obama and George W. Bush sent troops for a time. The decision comes when illegal migrant crossings from Mexico into the U.S. are at a 47-year low.
