U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed a co-ordinated military action with France and the U.K. in Syria. The action comes in the form of “precision strikes” on targets associated with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons capabilities. It’s a response to an alleged chemical attack last weekend in Douma, a community not far from Damascus. Activists say it killed more than 40 people and injured many more — but Syria and its ally Russia have issued various denials.
