The lackluster event drew an overnight rating of 44.9, which was the lowest for any Super Bowl since 2009. In the Scottish Premiership, first place Celtic extended their lead on the league to six points, shutting out St. Johnstone 2-0. 18-year-old American Timothy Weah had a goal and an assist after subbing in at the 74th minute to leave his squad to victory.
