Klay Thompson says the impact of DeMarcus Cousins’ dunk over Kyle Kuzma was huge to get the Golden State Warriors’ crowd back into the game. He continues to give high praise to Steph Curry for staying aggressive in the 4th quarter after starting the game 0-for-8. Klay Thompson says he couldn’t hear the Los Angeles Lakers fans chanting “we want Thompson,” but he appreciates being wanted. DeMarcus Cousins starts his press conference by saying he wishes he hadn’t stared down Kyle Kuzma after the dunk because he did not want to get a technical foul for it. Cousins explains the Warriors weren’t playing the right to start the second half but he is happy the Warriors pulled out the win. Cousins jokes that he is “pissed at Steve” Kerr right now as they are bumping heads with his minute restriction.
