Democrats to suffer after Kavanaugh “hoax”: Trump

President Donald Trump on Monday (October 8) slammed suggestions that Democrats may try to impeach newly sworn in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh if they win the House of Representative in November’s elections and said he thinks many Democrats will vote Republican on November 6.

Both Republicans and Democrats are looking to harness the anger generated by Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court ahead of the midterm election.

Kavanaugh was confirmed by the Senate on Saturday, and Democrats hope discontent with his appointment will linger through November.

Meanwhile, Republicans see the Kavanaugh firestorm as galvanizing conservatives, who have been looking for a reason to come out and vote in November’s elections.

Even though he was already sworn in, a swearing in ceremony for Kavanaugh is set for 7 p.m. on Monday at the White House, prolonging a victory lap for Trump.
