‘Hillary Clinton’s Emails, many of which are Classified Information, got hacked by China,’ Trump tweeted shortly after midnight, referring to the claim made in a report earlier Tuesday. The report claimed that a Chinese company known to conduct government espionage was able to insert code into Clinton’s homebrew server, and managed to forward her emails to a third party in real time. Trump had also tweeted about the China hacking allegations earlier Tuesday evening, in a more lighthearted tone. ‘Report just out: “China hacked Hillary Clinton’s private Email Server.” Are they sure it wasn’t Russia (just kidding!)?,’ Trump wrote.
