U.S. President Donald Trump was absent from the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner for a second year running, but former White House officials like Sean Spicer and Omarosa did book their seats.

U.S. President Donald Trump was absent from the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner for a second year running, but former White House officials like Sean Spicer and Omarosa did book their seats.

The U.S. president traditionally attends the dinner, but Trump chose instead to address a rally of supporters in Michigan.

On the red carpet at the dinner in downtown Washington D.C. former administration officials Gary Cohn, who was Trump’s top economic adviser rubbed shoulders with current officials like senior White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway, and White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Also in attendance was Hollywood Director Rob Reiner and Parkland shooting survivor, David Hogg.
