David Whelan, twin brother of Paul Whelan who was detained in Russia on spying charges, said he was there for a wedding. “No one as far as I know has seen or spoken to him,” he said in a phone interview with MSNBC. “His innocence is undoubted,” he wrote on Twitter rejecting Russia’s accusation that he is a spy.
