“I am here not because I want to be. I am terrified. I am here because it is my civic duty” – Christine Blasey Ford begins her opening statement after accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempting to rape her when they were teens.
Dr Ford then goes on to say she believed Brett Kavanaugh was going to “accidentally kill” her when he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
