Bolton Warns ICC Against Prosecuting Americans Over Actions in Afghanistan

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has warned the International Criminal Court against prosecuting any Americans over their actions in Afghanistan. Bolton told the Federalist Society in Washington Monday that the court is “fundamentally illegitimate” and the United States will in no way cooperate with it. But an analyst tells VOA that Bolton’s speech is not in the best interests of the United States. VOA’s Zlatica Hoke reports.
