BJP Yuva Mahila Morcha protested outside in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on Wednesday. Workers staged a protest after two women, in their 40s, had entered the Sabarimala Temple in wee hours on Wednesday. The police stopped the protesters from entering the Secretariat. The women who had entered the Temple were accompanied by the police. This is the first time when women under 50 have entered the Sabarimala Temple. The Supreme Court had earlier in 2018 allowed women’s entry in the temple.
