Alabama Crimson Tide, led by Tua Tagovailoa who threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns, started the Capitol One Orange Bowl by scoring touchdowns on their first 4 possessions while holding Kyler Murray and the Oklahoma Sooners to 0 points. The Tide held off a late comeback to win 45-34 and advance to the College Football Playoff title game. Kyler Murray put up a combined 417 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
