Firefighters set backfires in an effort to prevent the Carr Fire from reaching the community of Igo, southwest of Redding, on Saturday, July 28, 2018. As of July 30, the fire has burned 98,724 acres – 154 square miles – and killed at least six people, including a firefighter and a bulldozer operator. Seven people remain missing.
