US President Donald Trump has warned Saudi Arabia of “severe punishment” if it is found to be responsible for the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi.
In an interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes, Trump said promised consequences, but seemed to rule out terminating the multibillion-dollar arms sale agreement with Saudi Arabia.
Trump said he will call King Salman within 24 hours to demand answers.
The Saudi journalist, Khashoggi, was last seen alive entering his country’s consulate in Istanbul on the October 2nd.
