🇺🇸 🇰🇵 Reports: Former North Korean spy chief heads to US for talks | Al Jazeera English

It is the strongest indication yet a summit between US President Donald Trump and the North Korea leader may still take place.

Kim Jong-un’s right-hand man has been seen on his way to the United States.

Kim Yong-chol is the vice chairman of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party.

He is considered to be a close confidante of Kim Jong-un.

And there has been plenty of movement from other players involved as well.

Al Jazeera’s Andrew Thomas reports from Seoul.
